Water valve repair work on Cassils Road West, as well as curb and sidewalk repairs on all street improvement roads, will begin on May 22. The roads affected will remain open; however, there will be lane closures and side street closures.
Removal of asphalt is anticipated to start on June 11 and will continue for several weeks. Crews will begin paving the road as soon as possible. The street improvement roads will be closed during this time, except for Cassils Road where lanes will be reduced. Side streets on Cassils Road may be completely closed depending on the need of construction for a few hours at night.
The City will continue to communicate updates as they occur. Landowners affected will be contacted prior to the start of construction.
During the different phases of the work, some driveways and access to houses and businesses may be affected. Residents and motorists should take extra care to obey all “no parking” signs, flag people, speed limits and other construction signage.
