Family & Community Support Services is a partnership between the province, municipalities and Metis settlements that develops locally driven preventive social initiatives to enhance the well-being of individuals, families and communities. Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) and Southeast Alberta Child and Family Services Authority (CFSA) are working together to promote and enhance the well-being of children, individuals and families in our region. Communities design and deliver preventive social programs to help individuals and families develop healthy lifestyles and the resilience to deal with crisis, should it occur.
In 2004 the City of Brooks partnered with the County of Newell, Village of Duchess, Village of Rosemary, and Village of Tilley to form the Grasslands Regional Family & Community Support Services.
