City Council has approved $100,000 in funding in support of Ashton’s Place. The funding will be used to renovate Ashton’s place including the construction of 3 rooms to accommodate up to 6 youths in a transitional housing capacity.
These modifications will meet existing safety standards and building codes. We are also offering hope to these youth by engaging them in an environment that will provide personal support and skills development including 24/7 adult supervision. It is important to provide this foundation for our youth, encouraging them to return to school or enter the workforce. Do you have any comments on our decision? Do you have any comments about Ashton's Place accommodating youth in transition?
