Water & Sewer

  • New connections require a security deposit to be paid at City Hall at 201 - 1st Avenue West as well as utility bills. For water rates see our Utility Rates

Surface Irrigation

  • The City of Brooks is unique where it has an extensive irrigation system that supplies untreated water diverted from the Eastern Irrigation District canals and pumped through a piped network to numerous homes and parks throughout the community. The system is being expanded and upgraded each year to allow additional users to connect as a method to reduce consumption of treated water. With the availability of surface irrigation water, Brooks is known in the area as the place where "water works wonders".

Sanding, Snow Removal, Blading

Sanding is done in school zones and main arteries first and out-laying areas last.

  • High priority areas for snow removal include school zones and business areas. Main arterial streets are done after the high priority areas are completed. Please note that the City's Public Works Department does not conduct snow removal in residential areas.

  • All areas where snow can be pushed off the street are bladed first.
