Less than $10,000 $58.00
$10,000 - $49,999 $81.00
$50,000 - $99,999 $120.00
$100,000 - $199,999 $175.00
$200,000 - $499,999 $312.00

$1,000,000 - $1,999,999 $936.00
Over $2,000,000 $1,300.00

* Development Permits are required for changing the use of an existing building and most new construction projects

* Double the permit fee will be charged if the development has been started prior to a permit being obtained

Building Permit Fees:
Building Permit Application - Minimum $52.00
For every $1,000 of construction value for projects to $1,000,000.00 $7.00
For every $1,000 of construction value for the portion of the project exceeding $1,000,000.00 $5.00
Alberta Safety Code Council Fee: 4.0% of Building Permit Application Fee (Min $4.50) per permit
Demolition Permit Fee: $52.00 + $4.50 Safety Code Council Fee
Land Use Bylaw Amendment $400.00 - plus actual advertising costs
General Municipal Development Plan Amendment $400.00 - plus actual advertising costs
Area Structure Plan Amendment $400.00 - plus actual advertising costs

* Building Permits are required for construction over $5,000, incl. labour & for structural alterations regardless of value

* Double the permit fee will be charged in the event of work being started before a permit has been obtained
