In a effort to keep our streets safe, the City of Brooks is thinking about installing more solar power speed displays that notify the driver their current speed throughout areas of the City where speeding is a concern. Do you like these displays? Do they help you slow down?
City Council has approved $100,000 in funding in support of Ashton’s Place. The funding will be used to renovate Ashton’s place including the construction of 3 rooms to accommodate up to 6 youths in a transitional housing capacity.
