Facility Description

 

Lakeside Leisure Centre was built in 2004. It is a home to many different facilities. Here is what the Lakeside Leisure Centre offers.

 

 

Lane Pool – six lane 25 meter pool with a 1-meter diving board (12 Feet as its deepest point). This pool is handicap accessible.

 

Leisure/Wave Pool – with 13-different spray features, Lazy River, Handicap Accessibility, Tots Area and of course the Wave Machine (6 feet at its deepest point).

 

Hot Tub- Large hot tub with Handicap Accessibility and kept at a temperature of 40 Celsius.

 

Sauna – Dry Sauna

 

Steam Room – Kept at 115 Fahrenheit.

 

Waterslide – 200 foot aggressive waterslide.

 

Fitness Centre – 5-treadmills, 3-elipticals, 4-bikes, 3-steppers, 2-upsteps, a universal gym, bench press, free weights, exercise balls and mats.

 

Lockers & Showers (Day use only)

 

Combatants Room – This is a designated for martial arts and wrestling type programs.

 

Flexhall (Gymnasium) – Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Floor Hockey and much more!

 

Concession – Prairie Dog Mobile Grill open 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. – September – April and limited hours the rest of the year.

 

Curling Rink – 6 sheets of ice.

 

Meeting Rooms – Two rooms with power point projectors, screen and audio equipment.
