Administration
The Administration Department includes Human Resources, Inclusion, Communications and Information Technology. This department also administers services to Council such as public relations, special events, travel and per diems.

Finance
The Finance Department is responsible for Financial Reporting, Payroll, Property Taxes, Property Assessment and Utility Billing.

Fire Department
The Brooks Fire Department responds to fires, dangerous goods incidents, vehicle & industrial accidents, technical rescue (high angle, confine space, ice & water), carbon monoxide, and other incidents such as providing assistance to other emergency agencies.

Parks Services
The Parks Department maintains the City's outdoor parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, flower beds, green spaces and the Brooks Cemetery.

Municipal Enforcement
The City of Brooks Municipal Enforcement Department is not an emergency response agency. All emergencies should be directed to the appropriate emergency service by calling 911. This department is responsible for enforcing City Bylaws (including animal control) and Provincial Acts.

Planning & Development
The Planning & Development Services Department administers development permits, building permits, building inspections, development agreements, sign permits, the Municipal Planning Commission, the Subdivision Development Appeal Board, offsite levies and Economic Development.

Public Works
Public Works and Utilities is responsible for Waste Management, Water and Sewer Services, Snow Removal, Street Repairs and Maintenance and Capital Projects.

The Recreation Services Department is happy to offer a variety of programs, services and events to the residents of the City of Brooks and surrounding region.
