This certified course will give your child the information they need to become a capable and qualified babysitter. The course covers the responsibilities of a babysitter, skills for caring for children of different ages and how to handle emergencies.

Stay Safe! Safety Course
Ages 9 through 13 years
Course length: Approximately 2.5 hours
All courses will be held in the Elks Boardroom at the JBS Canada Centre
This course is designed to prepare children to be safe by themselves. It will cover first aid basics, how to deal with phone calls, strangers at the door, safety around the home and neighborhood, making safe snacks and much more. Children will role-play realistic situations they may encounter while being at home by themselves. Have peace of mind knowing your child has the necessary skills to stay home alone.
