Report a Motor Vehicle Collision or Hit and Run 


(Police attendance is not required)

Collisions that meet the criteria below, must be reported to Brooks RCMP. 

  1. Cumulative damages exceed $2000.
  2. Injuries to one or more persons, regardless of the amount of damages.
  3. You are a victim of a hit and run, regardless of the amount of damages.
  4. Occurred within the Brooks RCMP jurisdiction. (Brooks RCMP can assist with collisions in other jurisdictions, but to avoid delay please contact the police service or RCMP detachment where the collision happened).

Once completed, please email KBrooks@rcmp-grc.gc.ca


Call or Email Brooks RCMP to receive a Motor Vehicle Collision Statement. 
Once Brooks RCMP has received your statement you will receive a Police File Number and a Damage Sticker (if applicable).
Your collision will be investigated and processed within 10 business days. You will then have access to your report online at: https://www.ecollision.gov.ab.ca/eCollisionPublic_prd/eCollisionReport.seam
