Brooks – The City of Brooks is encouraging participants of all ages to join in on a free Learn to Skate Clinic on December 19, 2016 at the Lakeside Leisure Centre. The clinic is open to kids and adults of all skills and abilities. Skates and helmets will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

Registration is not required for the event. Lesson times are as follows:

  • Session #1 - 1:00pm - 1:40pm
  • Session #2 - 2:00pm - 2:40pm
  • Session #3 - 3:00pm - 3:40pm

“We have had great uptake from the community in the past and are excited to be able to host this event again,” says City Recreation Programmer, Marcie Brinton.

The City of Brooks welcomes everyone to take advantage of the free clinic. “We hope that it will encourage individuals who may have never had an opportunity to skate to give it a try,” says Brinton.
