The City encourages homeowners to contact the City's Public Works Department at 403-362-3146 or after hours at 403-362-5526 when the sewer backup occurs before calling a plumber as the City may be able to remedy the problem. However, the City will direct homeowners to contact a plumber, if required. The second step is to contact your insurance company.
