How will compost be dealt with?
The compost bins currently located in the alleys will remain. If these bins are being misused (by people placing garbage and non-compostable items inside), they will be removed. The Municipal Compost Site, located at the Newell Recycling Depot, will be open Wednesday through Sunday, from April 1st until October 31st and residents can drop off leaves, grass clippings and small branches.
