Brooks Regional Airport

The Brooks Regional Airport is located 5.5 km north west of the City of Brooks along Highway 873. The airport serves the City of Brooks and the Country of Newell for agricultural applications, flight training and air charter needs. There are two runways, one being 2800 feet and is comprised of an asphalt surface, the other runway is 2400 feet and is gravel. The Airport is equipped with the RNAV system in place for area navigation.

As of February 2016, the airport installed an AVGAS fuel system making it possible for airport users to purchase fuel. The fuel system currently has AvGas (100LL) fuel only and is a self-serve facility. The payment reader will accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Current pricing for AvGas Fuel is $2.67 per litre.

There are also a number of lots at the airport for lease on a yearly basis. Lots are available for leasing for either private or commercial use. If interested in leasing a lot, please contact the City of Brooks Public Works Office at 403-362-3146.
The regional airport also has an unmanned air terminal and there are no scheduled commercial flights. The terminal can be leased or rented to groups depending upon the discretion of the City's Public Works Department. Inquiries into rentals can be directed to 403-362-3146.
